Facebook is big among mobile users. What’s not to like? Cities I’ve Visited helps you create an interactive map of the cities and towns you have visited. Available in several languages, this application comes from TripAdvisor. All you do is add a pin to a city you have been to and you can get an at-a-glance view of your business travel trips. An alternative that’s more focused on the US and Canada is Where I’ve Been.

With Local Picks, you can be sure to find the best restaurants wherever you are. There are more than 1.5 million restaurant reviews, so you won’t have to worry about eating a poor meal again in the US, Canada or a variety of international destinations.

Finally, if you’re taking an international trip, you might need a bit of help to learn a few phrases in a new language. If you’re not using a universal translator, then the LearnIt application might come in handy. You can view and listen to word lists and you will soon be able to get by.
