Empire State Now On NYC Explorer Pass
If you’re planning a trip to New York, then you will be happy to hear that Smart Destinations has added the Empire State Building Observatory to the NYC Explorer Pass. The pass allows you to visit between three and seven attractions at an affordable pre-paid price. You can use it any of 40 attractions during a 30 day period and can get restaurant discounts as well.

Southwest Announces Logan Flights And Fares
Southwest Airlines has announced its flight schedule to and from Boston Logan International airport, to start from August 16. There will be ten daily non-stop flights to Chicago Midway and five to Baltimore/Washington International. Bob Jordan, Southwest’s Executive Vice President of Strategy and Planning, said: “Our new Boston Logan service will complement our current presence at T. F. Green Airport in Providence and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in Manchester, New Hampshire. People in the central Boston area have been asking for Southwest Airlines service for many years, and we can’t wait to introduce them to our legendary Customer Service, as well as our low fares, ontime flights, and no hidden fees.”
ASTA Offers Honeymoon Tips
The American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) is offering tips on planning the perfect honeymoon. These include starting early; thinking about the ideal trip; picking the location; setting a budget and splashing out on accommodation. A particularly useful tip was:
Unless a couple is planning on taking a delayed honeymoon, the bride won’t have time to change the name on her passport and driver’s license. She should use her maiden name on visas, airline tickets, etc., so they match as it appears on official documents.
Are You The ‘Face Of Travel’?
The Meetings Mean Business campaign is looking to find the individual who best embodies the character and hardworking spirit of the travel industry. The winner will become the newest spokesperson for the industry. The U.S. Travel Association will also provide $5,000 to the winner.
To take part, industry employees must submit a 45- to 60-second video telling why they are the “face of travel” and how business travel, meetings and events are important to them, their company and their community. Submit your videos through www.meetingsmeanbusiness.com/facesoftravel.
