Layover In Detroit (DTW)

The site that would later become Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) has been in operation since 1930. One of the busiest airports in America, the airport is constantly being upgraded and extended, with new airport parking and proposals for an additional runway. It’s the largest hub and major international gateway for Northwest Airlines, so if you’re traveling with that airline, you might find yourself there. The airport is only 20 miles from the city of Detroit, Michigan, giving plenty of time to check out local attractions when on a layover. Read more »
