Routes Airport Parking 3901 Mannheim Rd Schiller Park, IL 60176 Very satisfied with this facility. The van doors are very high to step in and out, be sure and ask the driver to provide the step stool.
I was very happy with the service and the staff. I had to wait about 25 min. upon my return and it was cold and raining and I was in a wheelchair.
Staff were courteous and efficient. Check in was quick. Shuttle was very nice, comfortable, and quick. Return was the same. Car was waiting when we arrived back to the gate. Highly recommend.
They only have one shuttle being used for transport to and from the airport and so it takes much longer for the service than with other companies. We watched other companies picking up customers much quicker and wished that we would have booked with them. They also told us it would take 10 to 15 minutes for a pick-up when we arrived back and it was over 30 minutes before the showed up and this was after two more calls to them.
friendly, fast, car ready to go when I got to facility. even though there was a line for people renting cars they just took my paper and gave me my keys, no waiting, no hassels. I liked that. they didn't help me with luggage because I just had a small bag.
The staff was very courteous and efficient
I waited for almost an hour for a return shuttle. After returning from a trip abroad, the only thing I wanted to do was get my car and drive home. The return wait was not at all acceptable. I will not use this facility again.
When attempting to enter the facility the entrance gate was locked and we had to use the Exit gate but not before having to circle back because one of the facility buses was exiting and there was only room for one vehicle. The website does not tell you that you leave your keys at the facility. There was no person to greet us when we arrived and there were many cars backed up waiting for parking. When we were taken to the airport the driver dropped us off at a different location because there was "too much traffic." The worst part of it was when we returned from an international flight we were instructed to go to the domestic gates which took a train ride from terminal 5 to terminal 1. After 20 minutes of waiting, I made a 2nd call to the business asking if a bus was in route, I was told he was there and we must be in the wrong location. I was also told it was my responsibility to know where the bus would be. We waited no less than a total of 45 minutes outside the vestibule before a bus showed up. And then we had to cross the street twice and go up a vestibule to track down the bus we happened to see pass. He was unaware we were even waiting and asked if we had called. After boarding the bus, the driver drove around to all the terminals searching for passengers. It appeared there were 2 other buses picking up passengers but no one seemed to know where they were. I have used facilities like this in the past at other airports and never had such a disorganized nor rude experience. Our driver was pleasant but the dispatcher could use some customer service lessons.
We have used Park, Fly & Ride 4 times in 2016 and we have had an awesome experience - prompt, helpful with luggage and friendly staff.
Very easy access to airport - very quick too. We did not have to wait to be picked up after our trip as well. Definitely will use this service again.
The valet service was superb both leaving and getting our car. The shuttle was prompt both at the parking facility and at the airport. We were very impressed.
I called at 5:12a.m.to be picked up at the pickup spot and was told a driver would be on the way. Thankfully there was a spot to stand inside because it was freezing cold out. After 20 minutes and seeing numerous other shuttles even multiple times I called again and was told he was on his way. Than after 30 minutes I called again. Very disappointed. I was ready to hop in a cab to take me to my car. It should not have taken an hour to get to my car from the airport. I was told he was dropping off as well. I am sure Pre-flight or Wally park were doing the same and they came by 4 times as well as others.
Routes Airport Parking ORD 3901 Mannheim Rd Schiller Park, IL 60176 I had parked at Routes for the first time and I could not be more pleased with their service. The counter people we great and their shuttle people could not have been nicer. Thank you for making my return very easy
Service was great and very easy. Clear directions. Only disappointment was that I booked online, and when I arrived, the advertising stated a cheaper rate.
Very reasonable price even by using a discount code that was found online. Good service. We previously used this business location on Mannheim Road when it was Thrifty. Same building and streamlined process.
I waited outside the airport for over 25 min on a cold blustery day. When I arrived to pick up my car, they said that it "was parked out front" and handed me my keys. I could not see the car because it was blocked by another car/
Very short trip to the airport. Very comfortable Mercedes Van. The driver was conscientious and friendly. Car was ready for us on our return. Very easy check in and check out. Best part? All this and it was the best price around!
I really liked this park n ride. They were very pleasant to work with and had a shuttle ready to get to airport and one to us in 15 minutes of calling them to let them know of our arrival. They made it very easy to get a hold of them and had car ready to go when got to car site. I will definetly use them again for future travels
The wait time was less than 5 minutes when we arrrived and they handled all the lugguge and when we came back from our trip the wait time was about 10 minutes. The staff answered the phone right away and told us where to stand for the shuttle. The driver took our luggage and put in the van. When we got back to pick up our vehicle it was right in front waiting for us and within 5 minutes we were on the road heading home. I will use this place again for future travels.
The drivers both ways were friendly and helpful. We didn't have to wait very long after we called in for a pick-up. The check-in/out process was efficient and not waiting time. The car was waiting for us upon our arrival to the parking facility. We would highly recommend this provider.
This was our first time using Routes. We were very happy with the people and service!
First time using offsite parking sevice. Very happy with service! Will definitely use Routes on my next trip, we saved so much money and the service was completely painless, so much better than walking around the value lot at the airport!
I highly recommend this service. Weather was cold. I was warmly greeted and registered. The trip to the airport was smooth and brief with very little waiting in a heated vehicle. Upon returning my car was waiting with all snow remaining ed from the windows and the car was warmed for me. Folks were helpful and kind.
This was by far the worst facility I have ever used for airport parking. When I tried to enter the lot people had just left their cars in the entrance. The vehicle used by the facility to transport passengers to the airport was also blocking the entrance!! I had to enter using the exit as did several other travelers. We were instructed to just leave our cars in an aisle and take the keys to the office. The ride to the airport was just as disappointing as 12 travelers were crammed into a 10 passenger vehicle. The return just got better as I was told the driver would be at the airport in 10-15 minutes. 35 minutes later the driver shows up. I had tried to call the facility to get an update.on the driver but after 15 rings no one at the facility answered the phone. The only positive was that the car had been moved to the front of the facility when we finally arrived
Totally efficient. Our car was ready and warm as soon as we returned on the shuttle.
It was hectic dropping off but it was also a very busy time at spring break. Overall very good experience. Driver was at airport when we arrived back, so we did not have to wait at all. It was great. Thank you very much!
People were very helpful upon check-out. I needed air for a low tire and they took care of it for me. Only issue was that it seemed difficult to figure out where to go at check-in. Probably my fault because I drove by the place the first time. I was looking for a "ParkRideFlyUSA" sign instead of a Routes sign.
Quick and easy, and conveniently located.
I had to wait over 30 minutes for a pick up the hotel. Too long
The parking site was easy to find. However, I wasn't aware until we arrived that we would have to leave the key to our vehicle there. When we returned it took I while (5-10 min) for the employees to locate where our vehicle was parked and bring it to the pick up area.
We were impressed with the efficiency of your professional and pleasant staff at the parking station, delivery to the airport and our quick pick upon our return. When we got back to your lot, our checkout was pleasant, simple and quick, plus our car was already waiting for us so we were on our way home in less than 5 minutes after arriving at your location. I will most definitely use your parking services again as we plan to do more traveling now that we are both retired. Your parking & transportation service and staff made our experience flying out of O'Hare a very pleasant one.
Confusion upon entering. The driver CLEARLY didn't want to drive us to the airport. Very unwelcoming and rude. Pick up was quick and efficient. The issue is that my car lock and alarm aren't working properly now. I've never had an issue before, but now it doesn't lock with my fob and engages the locks while driving. My mechanic believes that there may have used my car to jump another but was connected incorrectly. I won't be back. I may have to call a lawyer to get payment for the repairs. Made my trip end on stress and frustration. Unacceptable!
Everything going to the Airport was great. However, coming back to get our car was an adventure to say the least. Waited an hour for the shuttle to pick us up. I called about every 15 minutes to see what was happening and was told there was traffic. Called for the last time and the person said oh you need to be on the lower level to get picked up. AT NO TIME AT ALL were we told this. All we were told was to be in the 3G Terminal. During our conversation he hung up on me. I said screw it and just waited for the shuttle. I was less than pleased.
Excellent service and friendly courteous staff. Virtually no wait time. Answered all our questions. Overall fantastic experience.
The check in experience at Routes parking lot was fast and efficient. I dropped my car off, handed over the keys because I already filled out the paperwork online and paid online so all I had to do was show my paperwork. The shuttle was ready to go after retrieving our luggage. The driver took us directly to O'hare, dropped us off in an air conditioned vehicle to our terminal. No problems. The return was so different, our return flight was changed to an earlier flight, we called to update the parking facility, no problem, said the operator, your car and shuttle will be ready, our plane gets to The airport, we call, shuttle takes 20 minutes to get there after our baggage is retrieved and low and behold, 50 other people are trying to get on one shuttle, I am fuming, this driver is actually trying to pack us in this little shuttle like sardines, my 6 year old, 14 year old, husband and I and the other 40 or so people, (give or take) on this shuttle like we were actually going to fit in this 10 person bus..nope, I wasn't having it, call someone else to pick us up, NOW! In which to our glorious surprise happen to be circuling around trying to get to the international terminal was there to get us and take us back. In the middle of all this, my car tire was low, the parking lot was very helpful and filled it with air.
Very friendly and helpful staff
From the time I called to the time I was given my vehicle was almost 1 hour. Despite giving the dispatcher my ticket number my car was not ready for me on arrival. Disorganized operation.
We have used your parking facility many times in the past 2-3 years and have always enjoyed great service, fast and friendly. Definitely would recommend.
Took a long time for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport, but overall it was a good service.
This was my first time using your service and facility. I thought the person that greeted me when I entered the facility was a bit difficult to understand and could have done a better job of explaining the process for a first-time user.
My experience was mostly good. I discovered before my return that I had scheduled a day too long. I tried to call the facility and whoever answered was very dismissive and I couldn't even explain the reason for my calll. He just kept saying "ya we got it". I see on my email receipt they have me returning a day later. I guess no refund with a 24 hour notice. I wouldn't not recommend them but but be careful with your booking.
A++ experience! Used this parking facility due to AARP connection and discount, good online reviews and convenient location (driving in from SW suburbs). Worked out perfectly. Online prepay was simple and hassle-free, and the shuttle was clean and prompt. Glad to recommend to others.
I was pleasantly surprised when I made the online reservation that I was only going to pay $101.00 for 10 days. Now I know why it was so inexpensive. We arrived in the pouring rain, the shuttle driver was nice but complained about only having 2 drivers for too many people. That in and of itself wasn't awful. But when we returned there were literally 20+ people waiting for the shuttle. I called 3 times, the other people called 3 times, we waited 40 minutes and the first shuttle came but there was no room. When we FINALLY got to the parking lot (waiting another 10 minutes...ridiculous), my car had damage on the bumper. I was given a card with a number to call but told "good luck with that". I tried to call this person already but they weren't in. Terrible experience, I will not recommend this lot to anyone.
We returned Sunday at 4:20 pm. Shuttle was almost an hour wait at airport. Staff at base was tied up with customer phone call so I could not ask and receive very good directions for getting on to Interstate. The staff were helpful, but under-staff.
We had to wait a while to get picked up but it wasn't a great deal.
Fast pick up! Fast checkout! Thanks
First time I used this service. I was really pleased by the staff and the professionalism they showed us. I will be using this service again.
A very inexpensive and convenient option to parking at O'Hare airport. The shuttle to and from the airport was great, and the drivers were friendly and helpful. On the downside, I would like to add that it was confusing where to park when we entered and what to do next. There were staff members standing around, but not directing anyone (didn't even make eye contact with us). We ended up pulling around to the wrong side of the building and had to come inside to learn that we just needed to park in front where the staff members were standing. Signage could have avoided the confusion.
Staff is busy but processional, office is clean and bright, trip to airport was within minutes of checking in, van picked us up within 10 minutes of our phone call on arrival. Our only complaint is the 20 minutes it took for valets to move other vehicles out of the way to get our car out of the lot.
The only problem we encountered was we had to prove we paid ahead of time. Your computer did not have our payment in its database. You had to make a copy of the receipt we provided in order to let us leave.
Fast,efficient and reasonable
We arrived to ORD on a Friday evening and waited for 40 minutes for a shuttle, our shuttle driver was very pleasant, but said there were only 2 shuttles running. When we arrived at the office it took another 15 minutes to get our car.
The arrival went fine. We had some trouble knowing where to park. Once we found someone we unloaded and there was no wait for the shuttle. The place to meet the shuttle is on the ticket but you need to know the airport to understand where to go to find the shuttle. The ticket said go to the car rental place. I have never rented a car at ORD so I followed the Bus/Shuttle signs assuming that is where you get the car rental shuttles. That was not correct so we got to drag our luggage for an extra 20 minute to get where we needed to be. We then had to wait for .5 hours for the next shuttle. When we go to the car the radio settings had changed and the radio was blaring. The driver seat had been moved. The headlight switch was no longer on auto. I can see moving the seat but why were the other things touched.
Good location friendly staff
Great value! Car was waiting by the door for us. Only complaint...uncovered parking means very dirty car with leaves in every crevice. Would use again.
This wasn't my best parking experience but not my worst either. The biggest problem was the wait when getting picked up from the airport. There are many companies offering parking services but not all of them pick up at the same place. The written instructions on where to go to get picked up were inadequate. I ended up going to the wrong place and it took two phone calls and about 45 minutes until I finally got picked up.
Overall for the price, I would use again but there is definitely room for improvement at the facility Routes. That we used. This was our second time at the facility and the first was experience culminated with a super long wait at check in which is terrible for trying to make a flight. Hopefully you plan for these delays. This most recent experience caused us to consider not using the service again because after and international trip with 3 small kids, you just want to get out of the airport and home as fast as possible. We waited at least 45 minutes from out call time to get picked up from the airport. No bueno after traveling all day.
Excellent from departure to arriving back. Walked out airport door to Routes shuttle. Quick trip to pick up car to beat traffic rush. Directions of best way to exit city from driver who was very friendly.
Car was absolutely filthy when we pickedit up. Otherwise, parking was fine.
Easy on line reservation. Quick trip to O'Hare (10 Min.) . on our return at 5:30 PM, the arrival traffic, and street traffic were very full. It took 40 minutes from calling, to arriving back at the parking facility. The bus driver said it was the busiest he had seen in a long time.
I used the offsite parking from Routes. Pros: Convenient location Well marked entrance along the road, pulled right in Friendly counter staff Cons: The driver directly solicited a tip when we arrived at the airport. Unseemly. Rather long wait for the shuttle on my return. The entire time from calling for pick up and being on my way was just less than an hour. In spite of calling in my claim number, the car was not ready when I arrived. These are the realities of off site parking. You trade time for savings.
Quick, efficient and courteous. Checked in at a busy time, but the people could handle us all and they actually have employees who can multi-task and help more than one person st a time--very effectively too. Less than 5 minute wait at airport for pick up to return to car. Definitely recommend
We have used Park-Ride-Fly in the past for both Midway and O'Hare Airports. I was surprised this time to find they were now an umbrella organization for multiple parking facilities. The one we ended up with for O'Hare was “Routes.†Our previous experience with Park-Ride-Fly was to have the shuttle pull up to our car before we even had time to remove our suitcases from the trunk. This time we were told the shuttle would be there in 10-12 minutes. It was closer to 25-30 minutes. Then, it was 40-45 minutes total before leaving. Fortunately we had a very early morning flight, so we did not have to wait in long lines to check luggage or to make it through security. If we ever use Park-Ride-Fly again, we will most likely try a facility other than "Routes." Also, when I was reserving online, I found the process to be confusing. I used email to seek support, and during the exchange of emails I learned there was a 12% AARP discount.; but it was not clear how to request that online. I did some more emailing and “Mike†said I had to enter a coupon code of aarp12. I tried that along with my AARP number and it still gave me full price. I finally called and talked to “Mike†(don’t know if it was the same Mike) and the reservation was set up over the phone including the AARP discount. I appreciated the support, but it seems the online process could have been smoother and clearer.
Fast and efficient with valet parking service included
Arrival and registration was simple and easy. We then waited for at least 10-15 minutes on the shuttle to leave to head to the airport. This did not impact us making our flight on time, but was more annoying than anything especially since it was 5:00am. When we arrived back to Chicago and contacted them to request a pick-up, the person was very helpful in directing us to where we needed to go for pick-up and stated it may be a 20 minute wait, which it was. Traffic at the time of day of our pick up made for a long ride back. Upon arrival back at the parking lot, my car was right around the corner. However, the car was locked and my keys were no where to be found. I went inside and waited in the lobby for well over 15 minutes while the employees helped others, answered phones, and discretely searched for me keys. It was extremely frustrating when the keys were found not labeled in a drawer right at the front. There did not appear to be a system for keeping keys, check-out, etc. The time I waited at this place before and after my trip was quite ridiculous.
I initially had problems printing my reservation number. I called your office for assistance the morning of my reservation. A male answered the phone and tried to "send me off". I asked to speak to someone in the office since he was unable to assist me. The female that answered was very pleasant and able to locate my reservation right away. When I pulled into your lot the morning of my reservation, a male valet angrily gestured to me as to where to park. Upon my return, I called the number on the claim ticket I was given and informed the male employee that I was ready and waiting at vestibule 1E for United Airlines. He angrily responded that I needed to be at vestibule 3G. I informed him that I am coming from United Airlines and said by claim ticket says 1E. He angrily responded and told me that I didn't say United I told him FRONTIER. I don't understand the aggressive behavior of your male staff. I didn't feel safe with having a simple business call, so I absolutely do not feel save leaving my vehicle with you. I rather pay the higher amount at Wally Park as I have used them in the past and received excellent service from beginning to end.
Rates were reasonable and lower than most parking places.
Old Marriott park ride fly was self parking - this was not - big negative
The only thing that I didn’t know when I dropped off my on was I had to turn my keys over and the facility parked my car. I did not know that in advance or else I would of taken time to take possessions out of vehicle at my home. I would of preferred to park car myself and kept my car keys,
This was my first time using Routes Airport Parking; I have used at least 5 other airport parking services in the past. This one was by far my least favorite. We waited about 20 minutes for the shuttle to the airport and when it did arrive, I dont believe the shuttle driver greeted any of the passengers in any way. When we returned from our trip, we went to the bus/shuttle center, which is where I have gone for all of my other pickp-ups. This one, however, picks up at the rental car area. It did say that on the ticket, so it was my fault for assuming that it used the bus/shuttle area. However, when the woman at the counter highlighted door 3G, it would have been helpful to also highlight the rental car pickup area as well, or to at least mention that since many other services pickup in a different location. Also, the return shuttle driver was even more unpleasant than the one driving us to the airport; he didn't speak to anyone on the shuttle and seemed annoyed the entire time.
No greeting..As a matter of fact, there was NO Good morning or Hello or How you doing? It was just a "you renting" or "parking with us".. Your staff needs to do better! And when we had to wait for the shuttle No one else spoke either! And the driver flew to the airport..we almost had to hold on! We can spend our money anywhere & I think we will the next time!
I arrived at the facility earlier than necessary and was glad I did. There was one person trying to take care of at least 40 people. I waited for approx 1.5 hours to get helped. I was concerned I would miss my flight even though I had allowed at least an extra hour for parking my car. This facility is ridiculous! There's no place to park when you arrive and the staff (ONE PERSON) is disorganized and unable to handle the people arriving. I will never park at this facility again!!! You have been warned!!
I have gone to other park and rides and I like yours the best. I recommend you to anyone I know who has airport parking needs. Service has always been excellent. Quick shuttle to the airport and no long waits to get picked up. Thank you!
The return pickup was confusing driver missed us despite my party being at the proper pickup, cold , wet and tired from an international flight
Excellent service as usual
Waiting in cold for pickup wasn't pleasant, other services have me send a text rather than call, when I called I would have appreciated an estimated time pickup so could have stayed inside for some of 15 minute wait
We arrived on 12/10/2017 at approximately 12:15AM. We claimed our baggage and when to the meeting location as instructed on the information card. We tried to call the office and received no answer at 12:30, 12:36, nor 12:39 AM, Finally at 12:49 AM our call was answered and we were advised a van was in route to get us and would be there in 10 minutes. At 1:04 AM I recontacted the office manager who confirmed I was at the correct location at OHARE. The van did not arrive until 1:25 AM and was empty. When we arrived at the office, we noticed that not only did they not clear off the snow from our vehicle, which we had been assured would be done, they actually used the windshield wiper to attempt to clear the snow and ice from the windshield. No I had to replace the wiper blades which were ruined. Not happy.
Wasn't clear if pickup was upstairs or downstairs. We called several times and waited over an hour for a 10 min trip and it wasn't until the 4th call back that they said we were in the wrong place. No-one ever called us back to say they didn't see us the 1st and 2nd time. It was cold and it would have been nice to return to a warm car.
We were not helped with our luggage on our return trip, but that was ok due to the van being filled to capacity. Everything else was a first class experience.
I would recommend park and ride through this location whenever you are flying out of Chicago O'Hare. It's great to just tell someone what airline you are flying on and they drop you off right there in front of the entrance of your airline. You don't have to deal with traffic and worrying that you took a wrong turn. You have someone that will assist you with getting your luggage off of the vehicle and they are so friendly. The only issue that I had I believe is my own fault because when I arrived back to Chicago I didn't read the ticket that was given to me with the information of where I would be picked up and I asked a taxi driver if I was to stand at the place that I was at and he said yes. Well, he was wrong. I am not sure if he was confused or just looking to get me to ask him to take me to the Park Ride Fly location. I eventually looked at the ticket closer and it matched up exactly to what the sign said and that's exactly where the driver came to pick me up. Other than me not reading the ticket properly everything worked out perfect. I will definitely be going through this company whenever I fly out of O'Hare going forward. One recommendation I would make is that it would be great if there was a way that you could send out a mass text to everyone when the van or vehicle arrives at the terminal so we know to start looking for it and maybe a description or picture of the vehicle.
very good. my "no's" were ok ... it was 3:33am, and didn't expect happy and fully staffed resources. It took a minute to have someone come to the desk, but after that it was very efficient.
Ir das a great experience , great people, and service i wil be back next time i need it
Very courteous, friendly and efficient staff. Explained everything thoroughly so no problems would be encountered.
Will not use this specific location ever again. Although trip in shuttle was fine, we had to wait upon check in & worker was not courteous. Then, when we returned, although our reservation was paid in full and no balance due, we had to wait while 2 workers dealt with a line of rental car customers. Their system is incredibly inefficient. I will not use this specific location ever again.
The staff was efficient and polite. Handled my luggage from my car to shuttle to airport drop-off. When I returned (after a snow storm) my car was waiting for me with windshield cleared and most of the rest of the snow removed. It was a relief knowing that I was leaving my car in a safe and secure place and that there wouldn't be a problem with it starting when I returned in freezing weather! Definitely my first choice in airport parking!
Always have a positive experience at Routes! I don't travel much (usually 1 or 2 trips a year), but when I do I will Always use Routes. Great service and Great employees!
We paid for valet parking and the wait for the shuttle pick up was almost 45 min and 2 phon calls with them insisting they had come by. It was cold and late at night and thought that was unreasonable as they told us the shuttle would be there in 15 min. Then the car was covered with snow and nothing cleaned off. What was the point in paying for valet if you get no additional services over self park. We had used this particular facility before and the wait was long upon return pick up at that time as well.
Wrote time of arrival at time of reservation, so you would expect car to be by front, turned on & warmed up. Waited 15 minutes because car was blocked in way in the back of lot by other cars. Staff took long time to maneuver other vehicles. Very inefficient, unorganized.
Routes Airport Parking ORD 3901 Mannheim Rd Schiller Park, IL 60176 When I called with my ticket number they could not find my reservation upon our return. Then when we got to the facility they wanted to charge me for an extra week of parking saying I dropped off my vehicle one week earlier. Appears my reservation was combined with another one. Not what I want to deal with after traveling all day.
not enough people working the facility had to wait to check in 1 person at counter, upon return called for 45 minutes before anyone answered the phone was about to take taxi when finally someone called us back and then again 1 person at counter renting a vehicle to a customer with half a dozen customers waiting to get there cars from shuttle
When we arrived at the office, there was no one at the counter. There was a driver outside, looking for the counter staff. There were others waiting. We were just unsure of what to do. Cars were parked all over the front of the building and the driveway with no clear signage or outside staff tell us where to go. Do we park and go into the office? Do we wait in our car and someone comes out? (since it's valet), is someone supposed to be outside or manning the booth? We were in a rush, as were the other customers, so it's stressful not knowing. Once the staff arrived, the process went smoothly. The driver was immediately ready, loaded our luggage, and got us to the airport quickly. On our return, it took the driver a while to get us, but they did answer our calls and tell us they were on their way. Again, the driver was helpful and fast. Back at the office, we had to wait a while and we weren't sure what to do again. It looked like someone had gone back to get our car, but we didn't know. Eventually, an employee said our car was out front. We went to get in, but we were totally boxed in. We could not get out. I have know idea what they were thinking when they said our car was ready. I went back to the office, and there was again, only one employee. I asked if someone could move some cars, and she said, "I'm can't help you. I'm helping this person." Eventually, someone came and moved a car. Not one apology, or smile. We were not at all angry or rude, just perplexed. Before we pulled out, we noticed a plastic box on our car seat with someone else's keys in it! We dropped passed those to the employee who said, "whoops!" I can't imagine what would have happened if we left with those keys. No one would have EVER known what happened. The last time I was here (years ago) I was able to check in at booth, I drove to my spot;I parked, and the shuttle came and picked me up. That's what I'll be looking for next time. I referred three customers to Routes two weeks ago, before my experience. I will not again. Nothing horrible, but I'll look for something a bit more efficient next time.
Excellent all around. My return flight arrived at midnight, and I just missed the shuttle. i called Routes and was told, no worries, another would be there in 6-7 minutes, and it was! Great directions on where to wait, as well. Process is wonderful!
I would use it again. It was quick and efficient. The only issue was that it took a little while to get my car when I got back. Overall - good experience.
The valet parking service Rouse’s Airport Parking provides to me for an early morning flight was great. I liked the fact that I could drop my car off and get a ride to the airport for an inexpensive price. It was a short ride to the airport. When I returned, I called to have them pick me up and the wait was not long. There was about a five minute wait for them to call my name to her my car and it was right out front and warm when I got inside.
Only a couple of issues. On the morning we parked, the shuttle was there, but full so we couldn't get on. (This was Sunday morning around 5 AM). They said the next shuttle would arrive in 10 minutes then wait for 15 minutes to collect passengers - we didn't have an extra 30 minutes in our schedule so we took an uber to the airport. On our return, it was late and we'd been traveling all day. The counter woman seems put out that I just wanted my keys and to leave - she said, "everyone has a bad attitude today" Not my job to make funnies with you, just let me go home.
Do not use Routes airport service. Stay away from these people Sucks!!!
Polite and helpful staff. Convenient and secure method of parking and transferring to and from the airport - as a woman traveling by myself a lot - I depend on this type of service. Good value for the price as well.
Great service..reasonable cost spring . Shuttle was waiting for us after we got baggage and .car was ready when the Shuttle arrived
Parked for a week cheaper than at the airport. Had to ride with a 7-yr old child on lap on departure because the shuttle was full. So, not exactly the most comfortable or 'safest' ride this time, but the service was quick and handling of the luggage was smooth and helpful. Had to wait 15 minutes for the shuttle on arrival back to the airport, which is the longest we've ever had to wait (4-time repeat customer) but acceptable. The only really annoying part of this latest trip is that we had to provide our reservation receipt on return in order to check-out and get our car keys. We were told they needed the reservation number because we did not provide it on arrival. I did had the attendant our receipt at initial departure and he just handed it back to me not saying anything about needing to write down the number on our paperwork. This was the first time I've ever had to produce the paperwork again at checkout. It's becoming increasingly annoying to me that we even need to bring the paperwork at all when id should be more than sufficient and it should be easy to tell from the online reservation that we are alreay paid in full.
Always courteous staff and quick no wait situation!
Initially, I was pleased with the service. When I pulled up, a person was there to tell me where to park. I filled out a small ID card and then was taken to the airport. Upon return, is where I was displeased. It was very cold out and when I called I was unsure of how long the wait would be so I stood out in the cold. When I returned, I felt that my car could have been started and waiting for me or brought to me. That is why I chose the valet service. It was parked on the side of the parking lot wedged between 2 cars. I had to back and pull forward several times to be able to get out of the space that my car was in. I was concerned because the person working the counter couldn't find my keys. He had to go in the back to find them. What was the purpose of me calling with my reservation number from the airport if they weren't ready for me.
Every time we have taken a trip (Chicago airports) we have used your services. We have usually had good service, until yesterday. After traveling home from the Caribbean all day and phoning your staff at about 11:30 PM last night we waited a full hour, outdoors in short pants and sandals with a temperature of 34° and snowflakes flying through the air. We waited where we were instructed and after 40 minutes we called again and were stalled by your staff. Finally at 12:30 AM this morning the driver came and made no apology and then we quickly went over to international terminal to pick up a family of three. When we got back to your office there were two other staffers behind the desk. Not sure how they could have delayed our wait, unless they were completely incompetent, lazy or just wanting to consolidate 2 pick ups into one. My 30th anniversary vacation was absolutely perfect until the last hour which was spent waiting for you guys outdoors on a cold and windy, snowy Chicago evening. I'm not going to take a chance on going through this again. I will not use your services ever again and I will tell everyone that I know not to use your services. You guys are irresponsible and unprofessional and incompetent. You have one job, and that is to transport travelers to and from the airport in a timely and professional manner...and you failed at that. Goodbye. But I'd really like to hear from you regarding the unfortunate end to my trip.
We had no problem in terms of our car being cared for while we were gone. However upon returning we waited a half an hour in the cold for a shuttle to return us to our car. When we got back to the station there were several staff working and the process was quite confusing. Instead of being clear the female staff member was extremely rude and argued profusely with the man in front of me and interacted in a condensing way. It was unacceptable.
We waited 1/2 before the shuttle came I called At 7:30 first time and then called Again at 7:45 and still No shuttle till 7:57 Unexceptionable !
This was fast and efficient. No problems at all. Would certainly use again.
We used Routes Airport parking for the first time on our recent trip. Seems well organized - helpful personnel. Quick trip to the airport. And we were pleasantly surprised by the quick pick up when we returned. I hope it will be that fast next time we use the service.
When I arrived, I was hesitant to leave my car. The lot first off was hard to find because the sign was not very well lite and the lot was not either. The staff that morning was pleasant. They got us checked in and to the airport in a timely manner. When I got to O’Hare 4/10. I was not sure where I was to go to pick up the shuttle; so I called. The person who answered the phone was rude. She asked me for my reference number, I told her I didn’t know it. She said call back when you do and hung up. I found what she was asking for, so I called back. Gave her the reference number and she asked if I was ready to be picked up. I told her I would be if I knew where the pick up place was. She said when I get my luggage to call back. I told her I did not need to pick up luggage. She said to go to luggage and call back. So I did (3rd call). She then directed me to where to grab luggage. Driver was pleasant and quick. We get there, she hands me my keys and she say your car is on the door along the crub. I find the car and it is sandwiched between 2 other cars with 6 inches of space in the front and back. My first thought was WTF how am I going to get this out. 2nd thought was “valet, my assâ€. Then I get in my car and music is blaring on a station that I dont listen to. It took me 3 reverses and 4 forwards to get my car out with out hitting the other two cars. I will not be back and I will not recommend!
First bad experience here
Upon my return, I waited at the curb for over an hour and there was still no room for me on the shuttle. I finally had to pay for a cab to take me to the parking facility to pick up my car. Even though I called ahead with my claim number, my car was not ready for pickup. I had additional wait time because my car had to be found and brought to the office area. The return trip process took two hours! The delay was caused by lack of staff. Only one shuttle van was in service and there were only two individuals in the office to handle customers as they came and went from the parking facility.
Customer service at this facility is not good at all. The talk to you any kind of way and you have 2 people helping 1 customer at a time, so that means you have to wait longer. I waited at the airport for 45 min and when I got to this facility after calling in, I had to wait over 30 min for them to dig my vehicle out, as they called it, but I also was waiting for 2 employees to finish helping 1 customer. I was a paying customer as well. I said all that time say, 1 more thing, the men that work here are rude, they tell at you and 2 times when I called for a ride from the airport, I was hung up on. The driver that took us to the airport was on his phone the whole time, so we had to load our own luggage. WILL NEVER USE THIS FACILITY AGAIN.
We used this service on Mannheim Road in Chicago to park our car leaving from O'Hare Airport. It was easy to locate the facility. After checking in, which took only a few minutes, the shuttle arrived for our departure. The instruction card given to us was very helpful in locating the return shuttle from the airport back to the parking facility. When we called, we were notified the shuttle would arrive in 10 minutes, but when we arrived at the gate, there was a shuttle there immediately which we were able to procure. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the facility, because of the snow, we had to scrape ice and snow off of our car, but we were very happy with this parking service. We will definitely use this service again and recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you.
Friendly and efficient staff. Even gave me detailed directions back to 294.
Arrival and Check-in was OK, had to go into the counter to get someone to check us in. Shuttle to airport was reasonably quick. Called upon return on Saturday, April 28, around 4pm. Gave them our ticket number. Shuttle took over 30 minutes to arrive at terminal 5. When we got to Routes Parking, our car was not out waiting, and we had to wait another 15 minutes while they moved cars around in the parking lot to retrieve our vehicle. Doesn't it make sense that as soon as we called, they would have retrieved our car and had it waiting for us? The price was very good, but next time will look for other options.
We had to wait 30 minutes after calling to be picked up from the airport. Other Routes customers were waiting with us, and when we called in, rather than promptly sending a van, the Routes employee wanted to discuss where we were standing. The parking lot is very close to the airport, so once you notify Routes you’re ready for pickup, the wait should be minimal.
I felt this place was very disorganized. There is a car rental at the same counter, so it was a chaos.... we had to wait over a half hour for a shuttle to pick us up when we got back which we were told 10-15 minutes wait. It makes a difference after 12 plus hour flight. The lot was a mess. I was surprised our car wasn’t damaged...
O'Hare 'Routes' parking facility: The return trip was horrible. It took 3 phone calls and 35 minutes before we got picked up. Turns out we were lucky. Another party in our shuttle had to wait an hour. And our arrival time at the airport was 10:30 pm so not all that late. When we finally arrived back to the office no one was at the counter to help us. After waiting another 5 minutes, WHILE STANDING IN THE LOBBY OF THE OFFICE, I had to call again to get some one to the front to help us. When I finally got to my car the battery was completely dead and my key was chipped. Lastly, when they jumped my car they removed a cover from a part in my engine and they couldn't figure out how to put it back on so that cover in now in my trunk. The place is a joke.
Waited for an hour at the airport because they didn’t give us the correct level to wait for pickup. Waited for 2 hours for my vehicle because they jam all the cars in and they lost the keys to the car they blocked my truck in with. I will never use this place again. Short help and terrible service.
From luggage pick up at airport, it was about 1-1/2 hours before we picked up our car and were able to leave. We waited over 1/2 hour to be picked up at airport. When we were given our keys, we saw that our car was blocked from getting out. It took 15 mins. to get someone to help us get our car out. I would not recommend Routes car parking, and would not park there again.
I waited for the driver who was rude between 25-30 minutes to get to the airport and missed my flight. that why I had to come back within one hour.
I'M PARKING AT O'HARE FROM NOW ON waited 45 minutes for shuttle, even though they knew we were coming when we arrived we had to wait over half an hour for our car because they couldn't find our car.
Absolutely the worst. First it took 40 minutes for someone to pick me up from the airport. 40 Minutes! at midnight. They promise 10-15 minutes pick up and it took 3 times as long! As I called the facility continuously either no one would pick up or I would get hung up on. On my 9th attempt to call them before calling the police for some help someone finally answered saying it will be another 15 minutes. There were alarming a lot of people who needed a ride back and only 2 people working. When I got to the facility to pick up my car it took another hour and a half to pick up my car! How is this possible?! How is it ok at 1:30 AM I am still waiting for my car when I asked to be picked up at 11:50 PM. Cars kept getting blocked and the rental side took 25 minutes just to give out a car. I can go on and on this was completely unprofessional and absolutely unnecessary.
We have used Routes several times. I love the convenience of leaving my car in a secure lot, getting shuttled to the door of my terminal, and being picked up in a timely fashion when I return. This time the trip to the airport was the only time I ever held my breath the whole way. I wonder if the driver at 5:00 a.m. had been driving all night or had just gotten up? Eek!
Had the absolute worst experience with parking check out. Car was not ready at planned pick up time. Waited over 45 minutes for someone to locate my vehicle. Then waited for another 15 minutes for my keys after they brought the vehicle up to the front. I was never told what was going on other than they were working on getting my vehicle. I have used Park Ride & Fly many times and always was happy with the service. After last night's experience I will never use this place again!
Parking lot crammed with cars. too many for too small of space. Had to wait way to long for shuttle to arrive upon pick up, over 45 minutes. called multiple times.
Valet parking but cars had not been moved to quite some time so there were only additional places for 3 cars. You had to walk inside and they were serouusly understaffed. The staff person who finally waited on me was nice and helpful but it was a long line and long wait.
The pricing was good. The facility was satisfactory as far as the distance from the airport. The counter staff was professional and helpful. the driver on the way to the airport was unsatisfactory. He was doing 60 miles an hour in a 35 mile zone which was extremely dangerous. I do understand he was trying to get another client to their destination Gate. The same driver missed picking me up twice. I believe because he was speeding in the outer lane versus the lane near the pick up spot. It took a total of 30 to 35 minutes to pick me up and then another 10 minutes to get me to my automobile. Again, he was speeding and driving on the shoulder of the road and just weaving in and out of traffic to get it to the facility. He is a danger and a liability to your company if he doesn’t straighten up. I believe Park Ride Fly USA Purchasing of the routes company that could cause some consternation a month the shareholders or owners.
I have used Park, Ride, and fly in the past several times at Chicago Midway and have recommended the service to countless friends and associates and have always been extremely happy with the service. However, this past weekend is the last time that I will use the service due to the unorganized, unprofessional, understaffed, and down right rude circus that I experienced. Checking in on Friday was not too bad and the shuttle to the airport was fine, but on the return is when the problems started. I called when I landed for a shuttle and was told a 10-15 min wait was expected and 37 min later the shuttle arrived. Upon arrival to the office to get my keys I was greeted with an unorganized disaster and after raising my voice and threatening to call the police to retrieve my keys I was finally helped 45 min after I walked through the door. I was talking with a few other very dissatisfied customers while waiting to be helped. I feel that if Park, Ride, and Fly wants to succeed at Chicago O'hare, then they should discontinue doing business with Routes Airport Parking. Thank You, Jon
It took an hour to get a shuttle to pick us up. The dispatcher kept telling us the driver was in route. It was an hour later before the shuttle arrived and the driver was less than pleasant. I would not recommend this company.
This is the second time that i've used Routes airport parking. The pick-up from the airport was horrible. This time our plane arrived at 12:30am, We we standing there for over a hour. The driver stated that there was only one driver working and it was over 20 people waiting. We ended up taking a cab for $24.00 to Routes parking facility. The desk worker thought it was funny. My vehicle was not waiting and running as promised. When i asked about getting reimbursed my $24.00 for the taxi ride, the desk attendant told me i had a $15.00 bal which i did not because i prepaid. I ended up getting frustrated and leaving. This happened on my 1st visit 1 year ago with Routes and i decided to give the facility another chance. I will never visit this place again.
That was our second time using this parking facility. Second time... because we liked the services the first time. I'm sure it's gonna be a third time as well. Ease of use, helpful staff, timely shuttle both ways, reasonable price. Our car was in good hands. I hope to continue this good experience in the future.
Our return to ORD was delayed because of bad weather in Chicago. The Routes personnel were hustling to pick up delayed parkers, as well as renters, but retained their helpful composure. They had four vans in operation despite the lateness of the hour.
We will never use this place again and would not recommend it. We just did the park and fly but had to wait to wait an hour bc they kept saying they had to move some cars to get to ours. Finally they admitted they had lost our keys. Thankfully I had a spare one with me. We told them if they didn’t find them we wanted them to replace it bc the fobs are expensive. After several calls and being left on hold endlessly we found out they found the keys. We told them we wanted them sent overnight and that didn’t happen. I almost always read reviews but didn’t this time and I surely regret it. Has horrible reviews from others too! 😡
Good custom service. Very friendly staff. Pickup and drop off was ease. Will park at this location again.
I originally gave this location a fair rating however after a few days back home I realized that my husband left his wallet in the glove compartment. While this was our own oversight, there was no reason that anyone should have rummaged through our car, which is the only way the wallet would have been found. The wallet was not in plain sight. There were multiple transactions on our cards during the time our vehicle was in the possession of Route - Park N Fly which needless to say was devastating to reveal. They used my cards and put the wallet right back. Again, I understand our own neglect in leaving a personal item in the car but there was no reason anyone should have gone through our stuff.
The bus took WAY to long to come pick us up. He had to come back around for us because apparently he left us. Then we finally got to parking lot and our car was not ready. Why would I text my valet number and then arrive 35 minutes after calling and my car STILL was not ready. I had to wait in line. There was one clerk, and when my turn came he WALKED AWAY.. and left a whole line of people. Finally another guy came to desk asked for my reservation slip and then handed me my keys and pointed to my vehicle. 50 minutes after calling we finally got in our car. UNACCEPTABLE.
While the facility was a little further away than I have used in the past, it really didn't make any difference. They parked your vehicle upon drop-off and had it ready for pick-up. The shuttle arrived in a timely fashion. Their aggressive pricing and efficient service have earned my business. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again, nor should you. As always, good luck with anything like parking and shuttles, but these folks did a good job.
The check in process was a little confusing as this facility also rents cars. Once I figured out where to go it was quick and efficient. The shuttle to the airport was equally efficient. The wait time to get picked up at the airport was unusually long and frustrating. The actual check out process was super fast and they had my car waiting for me.
Easy, efficient, pleasant. Quick ride to and from airport. Excellent price. I will use this again!
Routes Valet parking on Manhiem road is awful.. First of all they took 1hour to pick us up at door 3G.... Now we get to facility one of the travelers who was with us notice his hood popped up to his car... he goes over to car doors open and hood popped up..During that time I asked for my keys... they couldn’t find them.... make matters worse they couldn’t find my traveling buddy who’s hood is open and doors unlocked keys either... oh yeah my doors were unlocked as well... took hour to find keys.... make matters worse... my traveling buddy car wouldn’t start... they left his interior light on so now they needed to give him a jump.. will never use them again....
Spent 40 minutes and had to place follow up call to finally get shuttle to pick us up... car was not ready when we finally reached facility (we had called in one hour before that we had arrived). Waited additional 20 minutes for them jockey car to us... not acceptable
We used Routes for our trip this time. When we arrived back at O'Hare we called and were told to wait outside door 5B on the second sidewalk. We waited and other passengers were being picked up but our ride wasn't there so I called. I was told the driver was on his way. We waited some more and the driver still did not arrive. I called again and was told that the driver was dropping off other customers at the departures and would be right down to us. We waited some more and I was getting ready to call a forth time, when the driver finally arrived. The weather outside was cold and we waited longer than what was appropriate. I will have to think twice about using Routes again or recommending Routes. I like Park Ride Fly, but am unhappy with the services by Routes.
Totally satisfied with Routes. Good price, near airport, speedy shuttle service, friendly check-in and check-out. Sure beats the heck out of parking at the airport.
This trip was very efficient. I mentioned when I called for pickup that our car is manual shift and we needed to wait last trip for someone who could handle it. Our car was actually waiting for us right outside the office when we arrived after being picked up at O'Hare. The office staff was the best ever!
Trouble locating car. Not helpful
It took over 45 minutes to be picked up from the airport. Also, waited another 33 minutes in checkout line and to get my car.
It took over 30 minutes for us to get picked up, and then we had 35 minute wait for the car!
Please note we were taken to airport, no problem. The return was a nightmare for me. I called several times because there were no good instructions except to call. I called more than once could not get clear instructions. Could not get anyone to answer one call. I waited for the van at the airport and after awhlle after waiting in cold at shuttle bus stop I called again and said van not here. He stated bus, not the airport shuttle bus and something about door number 3. I am not a seasoned traveler and did not understand because he said there was no name or markings on a white bus. A written note about the change on return trip would have been very helpful. I asked when I got back about the mixed up instructions on phone and he said this am they put the instructions on the tickets for return. That was a week later!!!! My car was brought up and driver said the door is open and wipers on but there is snow inside my car!!! Snow was pushed all over my power control panel, floor and dash...luckily my sear was dry. I am 68 and struggled with luggage to put in car. No help was provided. Not a satisfied customer......hope my control panel does not go out, Person did not even try to remove the snow he put inside my car. Go figure!! Bad expeience...
We've used your facility several times with much satisfaction but this most recent experience have sour us. While we understand that the City of Chicago made drastic changes to where the pick up on the return flight is, the communication was poor and the check out was terrible. First, when we called for a pick up from Terminal 5, your staff did not clearly explain the new procedure. We had to call several times and waited for over 20 minutes. We also gave your staff the reservation number in the white card, when we arrived finally to pick up the van, it was blocked and the staff did not do anything to ameliorate the problem and we had to wait again for another 15 minutes before we could get the car out. We could not understand why it was blocked in the first place when we called in with our number close to an hour ahead of time from Terminal 5. To make matters worse, your staff was defensive instead of being helpful. We will not return again.
Pick up directions were not clear or explained. After 3 phone calls and 30 minutes waiting, we took a cab to the facility to get our car.
Always polite and efficient. Drivers were great. When my truck wouldn’t start on one occasion, as soon as they saw my hood up, they were there to give me a jump. Didn’t even get the chance to ask for help. What’s not to like with a company like that! Joe
No separate line for car pick versus car rental. Long wait to just get my keys. Van's that transport you to and from the air port are old, worn and stained. 1 seat had gun stuck to it.
The driver was horrible. The entire drive to the airport he was talking on the phone and to the guy in the seat next to him. He didn't seem to be paying much attention to the fact that he had a van full of people with him. The driver to the airport took us to the wrong terminal, even when we said it was the wrong terminal he argued with us. It seemed like we were inconveniencing him and that it was our fault that he took us to the wrong terminal. He did drop us in terminal 2 when we needed to be at the international terminal 5. We ended up having to shuttle from the terminal he dropped us at, to the right terminal. The pick-up was the same driver. He was short, rude, seemed inconvenienced that he had to put our luggage in the back. The directions we received to the rental car shuttle were confusing and unclear. I have to say other than this one driver, the rest of the staff seemed very pleasant and friendly. This one person was very rude. I have used Routes in the past and will never use them again after this experience.
The wait time was over an hour and 15 minutes. Absolutely the worse wait time ..unacceptable ..I literally could have taken a cab and got home by the time they arrived.
Pickup Slow! Drop off was okay, we were traveling with an infant and driver didn’t offer to help load bags. Pickup was very slow. We had to take the O’hare rental car shuttle from airport to car rental location and then wait for the Routes shuttle to pick us up there. We waited 15 minutes for the 2nd shuttle and others were waiting longer than us. Once we got to the Routes location we had to wait behind people renting cars just to pickup our parked car which was super annoying. The people in front of us needed to give insurance, driver license info, etc. I just wanted to pickup my car and go home. Suggest having two counters (one for parking and one for rental cars)
At check in, and even more, at check out, the facility seemed to be grossly understaffed. We stood in line at check out for almost 30 minutes while one employee managed the phone, someone who was getting a rental, and five people who were trying to check out. Eventually two other employees floated through but they quickly vanished after assisting one customer. Apparently, due to the fact that Spring Break was happening, they were especially busy, but I would think that the management could see that coming and could schedule more employees to be on hand. After a long international flight, it was extremely unpleasant and frustrating to have to wait for so long to get our car so that we could head home.
I have used Routes multiple times when I travel out of O'hare. The proximity to the airport and easy of drop off, shuttle and pick up is superb. This time we used an airport shuttle to a pick up site at a parking garage instead of the airport. Not sure if it was the time that our flight returned or if this is a new procedure but I liked it. I feel it streamlined the pickup at the airport. The shuttle drivers are always courteous, helpful and cautious drivers. I'll keep using this facility because they have never given me a reason to look somewhere else.
Routes did not work for us with small children. When you arrive at the airport, you have to take the car rental shuttle to the car rental terminal building and then wait 15 minutes for the Route bus to come and get you. We will not be using Routes again.
Shuttle drivers were courteous, helpful and very friendly. But desk staff are surly, rude and totally unfriendly (whether in person or on the phone). No smiles, hello, thank you etc. If you could improve on the customer relations end, it would make a huge difference to the traveler. Again, not the shuttle drives, just the desk staff for check-in/check-out. One suggestion for the drivers dropping us off to pick up our cars.....let us know we need to go to the desk to get our keys. I'd assumed the keys were in the car so went to the car only to have to return to the desk. Also at the desk area a simple sign indicating where the waiting line begins would be helpful. Instead we were rudely told where to go... no "please", just pointing.
ParkRideFlyUSA.com was an easy online way to reserve parking at O'Hare. Out of the choices I used Routes, the price was the most reasonable, the service was excellent. I will use this parking in the future. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was perfect.
I already sent a review. For many reasons, we were not satisfied with your service. Paid for valet--not so except for they wanted to keep our fob. Waited and Waited at the airport---for a shuttle---getting our car back. Hours waiting!!!!
We don’t fault the employees that were waiting on everyone, but heaping their responsibilities to renting, running out for checked autos was just too much to ask of your patrons to wait , almost an hour to retrieve our auto after our already vary long day. There were but four people in front of us and that hour long wait was unnecessary. When the employee bought my vehicle out for us, our car radio was blaring a Spanish station, the air conditioning was set to high and the passenger seat moved all the way up. WHY? There were other people sitting while their spouses were in line and all of them said never again. I think it’s prudent to say we’ve used Park Ride Fly several times in the past b/4 “Routesâ€, but now we’ll be using Wally from here on out.
A few problems, mostly due to inadequate staffing. When we arrived there was one long line for all services, car drop off, pick up and rentals. Rental at least should be separated due to how long a process. The ladies bathroom was out of order on the day we arrived. I used the men's, which was gross and had neither toilet paper nor hand towels. On our return, 9 days later, same scenario!! Apparently no one ever checks or repairs them. Our return home, we were exhausted and while the 2 bus trip was as efficient as it could be, the extra switching buses were something we could have done without. Bus drivers were friendly and helpful.
I’ve used this facility several time. I was extremely unsatisfied with my return. I had to wait an hour for someone to pick me up. Called several times(10) to get told 3 different stories on when they were picking me up. I can’t say I won’t use again because of the convince and it’s reasonable. This experience was not a good one.
A 1 star review of Routes Car Rental by Kimberly G.: https://www.yelp.com/biz/routes-car-rental-schiller-park?hrid=rHRTFeP2QiVjuW0eo9Sd-g&utm_source=ashare&ref=yelp-android
Receptionist is extremely rude. She hung up on me. When I called back she said it's because she was busy. Bus driver was nice
I was not impressed with ROUTES airport parking.....I had to get on a bus to go to the car rental facility to get picked up. That is BS. I have never had to do that and it was very confusing at Ohare airport to deal with that issue. Would not recomment ROUTES again.
Prompt courteous service at an affordable price. Wish I had known that pickup service at the airport was no longer possible when I booked this but the O'Hare shuttle bus worked all right and Routes pickup at the rental car location was quick and courteous.
The drop off went smoothly. The pick up was lengthy, confusing, took a long time to get my car plus.... the attendants were incredibly rude!
Nowhere on your website did it provide me with any information about your shuttle Service. As a matter of fact, because there was no info I had to call the customer service number to confirm that there is a shuttle and that I would be taken to & picked up from the airport. I was told it would be “on demand†& immediate. I waited 20 minutes for the shuttle both ways. As such, I almost missed my flight.
I can best describe this location as chaotic. When I dropped off the car I waited in line only to find out I had to fill out a card and wouldn't have had to wait in line. When I came to pick up the car I had to wait for 30 mins while they jump started cars that were blocking mine. They appeared to be overcrowded and understaffed.
The check in process was slow and painful. We waited 50 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Plus our car was not ready upon our return
Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Very quick shuttle and cat was ready upon our return/
The employees are GREAT--kind, courteous, and helpful. The setup of this facility is horrendous! Car rental and airport shuttle service is provided. Upon entering the facility, the signage is abysmal at best. While marked Shuttle, the wording that is most prominent on the sign is Rental Cars. We did not notice the Shuttle signage until an employee pointed it out--very confusing if one is a first time user. The lot and driveway were jam packed and difficult to navigate. The van/bus is small. When traveling with elderly parents who have mildly limited mobility, this vehicle was difficult for them to climb in and over other customers who did not acquiese to their disabilities. Upon returning home, we had to take the airport shuttle to the car rental facility, call, the parking facility, try to figure out if they understood we were calling for pick-up, and wait for their tiny van/bus so we could load up our gear and elderly parents yet again. When I accessed my vehicle there were scratches and door dings that were not present when I dropped the vehicle off. We will not ever use this service again. We tried to save a buck or two and paid more in frustration than we ever would have at other nearby tried and true shuttle services.
Worst experience ever! Tiffany the person answering the phone is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Everything was fine until the pick up at the rental car location. We have used Tires multiple times so we know the procedure. We stood at bus Bay 3 door 2 and called for the lock up. After waiting 18 minutes, cell phone call time stamp, I called to check on the shuttle arrival time. Tiffany answered this time and I asked how long until the shuttle because we had been waking a awhile. She said I was lying because they had just locked up several people and proceed over the phone to yell at people in her waiting area to all then if there were other people waiting. I told her I can see exactly how long I was waiting from the phone time v stamp of my previous call. She continued yelling that I was lying and then hung up on me. This was only the start. The shuttle finally arrived with a very nice driver. When we get back to Routes to pick up our car Tiffany days everyone must stand in a line to get called. I am first in line and she ignores me for about 5 minutes then calls me up. I tell her, which she already knew, that I was the woman from the phone call. She yells she is not going to discuss it with me and I said I wanted her name so she seems Riddance, TIFFANY, she says. I said that she was very unprofessional and I wanted to Suraj with someone she then says that c she is not going to get my car. What??? Not get my car? Are you kidding me. She refused to return my car to me and walls out. Finally another employee comes out and apologizes and his and returned our car to us. Be warned never use this place if Tiffany continues as an employee. By the way while before she initially valued me over she has 2 very quick calls one were she told a person who was lost trying to find the location that she was busy and hung up on them and the other caller was calling for an airport arrival pick up. She asked then don't you have the claim ticket we have you why don't you read it and do what it says and then hang up on them. Wow is all I can say. Never, never again.
We parked our car here for two weeks while on vacation. The staff was busy but we were taken care of quickly and the shuttle service was also quick on getting us to the airport. On our return the shuttle was already at the pick up location so it was great to get on and get to our car so quickly. Keep in mind that this is a busy place, so there could be a short wait. The staff is knowledgeable and patient with everyone and do their best to help everyone as fast as possible.
The only good thing was the friendly staff when dropping car off. We were then dropped off at arrivals instead of departures. When we returned two weeks later we had to take a bus with 4 suitcases and 2 book bags to a car rental building and wait for Routes to pick us up. When the driver came he was rude when I said it was illegal to have an overloaded van. There were so many people they had to sit on laps. He told me if I didn’t like it I could get out. One man was told to sit on the floor between the front bucket seats and he did. He stated that he does this all the time and I’m the only one with the problem. This was at 11:00 pm and all people wanted was to get their car and leave. We will never use this park and ride again.
When I arrived, the lot appeared full. I was behind two other cars, the first of which was in front of a booth. I sat in my car for at least five minutes before an employee walked by my car. I rolled down my window and he asked if I was leaving my car there and taking a shuttle to the airport. When I answered yes, he told me to go inside to fill out a form. I got my luggage and went inside. The check-in process then proceeded fairly quickly, but I then had to wait for more than ten minutes for a shuttle to the airport. The driver, however, was courteous and helped with my suitcase. Upon my return, I followed the directions and got the shuttle to the Rental Car Center. I tried to get the Routes shuttle that was there, but it was full. A couple, who were also turned away, were told that another shuttle was coming. I called the number on my ticket and was asked by the woman who answered what my claim number was. I recited the number and then saw that the call had ended without another word from the woman. I was concerned that we had gotten cut off without her getting the full number, so I called back. I called back three times without an answer. The fourth time, a woman answered. I tried to explain that I had called before and had gotten cut off when I was giving the number, but she just asked for my number. When I recited the number, she simply said okay and hung up. I waited for about 15 minutes before another shuttle arrived. The driver loaded the luggage and unloaded it when we got to Routes. I saw that my car was there parallel parked between two vehicles in the same lane in which the shuttle had pulled into. I went inside and got my key from an attendant in a reasonable amount of time. I was in the process of pulling out from the two vehicles when I had to stop because another shuttle was pulling in. The driver got out and got the luggage from the rear of the shuttle. In the meantime, I had managed to get the front end of my car out into the lane behind the shuttle. I thought that the driver of the shuttle must have surely seen me, but he simply went inside the building. I could not go anywhere because the shuttle was in my way. After a few minutes, I went inside the building, but could not see the driver. The other employees inside were helping other people. I went back out and waited for a couple more minutes. I then went back inside and then saw the driver coming out from the back. I told him that I couldn’t leave because the shuttle was blocking my way and he then moved the shuttle. My overall experience was less than positive and the survey above did not lend itself to communicating that. The employees upon my arrival and departure were not very attentive. The woman who answered my call from the Car Rental Center was abrupt and I was unsure if she had gotten my claim number. I also felt that the waits for the shuttles to the airport and back to Routes were too lengthy. I have used Park, Ride and Fly at both O’Hare and Midway Airports many times in the past and have been largely satisfied. However, I’m not certain that I would go back to Routes myself and I could not wholeheartedly recommend them to my friends.
It took over an hour after our plane landed to get back to our car. After a week of traveling the last thing we want is to get on a shuttle to get on another shuttle. I have done this before and was picked up right from the airport and back to my car In 15 minutes. Was really disappointed this time around.
Upon arriving to the facility I was not greeted just serviced and told that the shuttle would arrive in 10 to 15 minutes. The shuttle took 30 min and myself as well as others almost missed our flight. I almost had to take an Uber as some other travelers did. When I returned and entered the facility I as well as others were yelled at by some ignorant African American female employee stating that "there is one line". She then said with an attitude "what do you want?" I was livid..She acted as if everyone there was getting on her nerves. I can't think of a better word to describe her behavior but sheer ignorance. Employees need to understand that without customers they don't exist. I'm a bank manager and I know how important customer service is. I normally use Easy Park and have never experienced anything remotely close to the level of service I received from Routes. I will never do business with them again and will gladly communicate to my business colleagues, family and friends to not do so as well. Note: I only referenced race because I wanted to be clear on who the culprit was. I am African American myself. This is solely about service just wanted to be clear.
Very unprofessional, unorganized and lacked customer service. On return you wait for a bus of it is full you must wait until they have a free one which took 30 minutes.the bus is CRAMMED like sardines! No one assist with luggage-you arrange yourself. That drops you at a car parking lot then you wait another 15 minutes for a Routes minivan to pick you up.The van is in poor condition cracked windshields, sliding doors that do not work properly and after calling a manger to complaine about service they do not care ,the driver said they don’t have to help with luggage and the manager doesn’t care what the inconvenience is,be it the big shuttle bus from airport delay to parking lot that had us wait for 30 minutes he would not send any one to rectify their issues. Our vehicle was not ready when we finally arrived after another 25 minutes waiting which in all should have been a 20 min max transfer from airport to retrieve car. We spent over an hour with horrible customer service and the driver had nerve to say we could not get better or cheaper service and he didn’t have to help us at all the manager won’t care what we say. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IF YOU EXPECT EFFICIENCY AND PROFESSIONALISM WHEN TRAVELING! I strongly recommend other providers with better rates and quality in same location and Park Ride & Fly thoroughly screen their lot contracts. This facility doesn’t advertise its return clearly until you drop off the vehicle & paid in full.
The drivers were very friendly and explained the new pick up procedures and made sure we understood that pick up has changed. The check in/out process was easy and efficient. I would highly recommend parking your car here!
I did not realize that upon return, I would have to take a shuttle to the car rental place then call and wait again for a Routes shuttle to pick me up from there and take me to their location. There are other parking services that have used one shuttle. I went with Routes based on cost. I got what I paid for. I'm willing to pay more for convenience in the future.
O'Hare - Schilling, IL First, the "valet" service is non-existent. When I pulled into the parking lot, there was an overflow of vehicles and no one to greet me to tell me where to park my vehicle. I decided to put it at the end of the line of parked vehicles by the "valet parking" sign and then grabbed my luggage and waited. When someone finally showed up, I asked him if I parked in the right spot and his answer was to go inside and get in line. When I went inside, the line for valet parking was the same line for those wanting to rent vehicles, thus taking forever, which is always unnerving as you're not expecting to include that extra time when needing to catch an international flight. I had been given direction that when I return, I was to go to the car rental area in the airport at O'Hare, call a phone number and someone would pick me up to bring me back to the park and fly. I did this - 3 times. Because I was tired, and my expectations were low in terms of service, I used Uber to get myself back, at my own expense. After a 6.5 hour flight, the last thing I needed was to wait around for someone to answer the phone. Once I got back to the park and fly, again, I had to wait in line for the 4 people ahead of me to rent vehicles. Not sure if you're aware, but that's not a quick process. In fact, it was long enough for me to count the number of phone calls that came in unanswered - 6. All I could think of were the 6 people at the airport calling to get a ride back to their vehicle, probably as tired as I was, and no one answering their calls. There are so many issues going on within that business that I'd be embarrassed to have my name associated with it. My suggestion to you is to do a blind purchase and see it for yourself. I wish you the best - it's a mess that's needing a great deal of care to bring it to the level of just "acceptable."
We call ln ed 3 times. After a long wait to get to the rent-a-car facility, we arrived to a full shuttle, the driver said that he would send another right away, a half an hour later, we were taken to get our car. This was over an hour process. Unacceptable!
New car and expensive damage to passenger side of vehicle/long wait at pickup.
At arrival, needed to wait in line with car rental customers to drop off car, long wait. When served at drop off, required to fill out form manually that duplicated info on on-line form and they did not use the on-line form. At return, had to load onto crowded airport bus for ride to rental car facility, then unload whole group and call Routes for pickup. Waited for pickup and for shuttle to fill again for ride to car storage location. At Routes, again waited in long line with car rental customers just to get car, which was already paid for. Then sent outside to wait for car and watched attendants "race" around the lot with my and other cars. No damage but I don't like seeing property of other being treated that way.
Left my car here from Aug.7-11, 2019 only to come back and discover damage to the hood of my new car. I sent emails and called the manager Jose only to be told that he would have to review a week's worth of surveillance tapes before he assumed liability and give me the insurance information. As of today 8/17/19.
Trip to airport was great ! Trip back was terrible . Had to wait for shuttle to drop us off and another long wait for another long wait . The driver had the radio turned up . A lady with a sleeping baby had to ask for him to it down and he slightly turned it down .Then to top it off my car was not ready and had to wait for them to find it and bring it .
The shuttle was great. Parking was easy and glad to have the valet service. However, we had to wait for at least 30 to 45 minutes for our car to be pulled up after our return. We were very tired and anxious to start our 3 our drive to our home in Indiana after a 10 hour flight from Europe. It was very frustrating that we had to wait and wait and watch other later shuttle arrival people get their vehicles and depart. We were told that our car had others parked in front of it. My question is: WHY WOULDN'T YOU HAVE THE CARS PULLED OUT AND READY TO GO FOR THE GUESTS ARRIVING ON A KNOWN PREPAID DEPARTURE DATE???
Got my car back with no issues. Even still had the same tires on it...
We didn't have to wait long for your shuttle; the problem was trying to catch a rental car shuttle bus at the airport to take us to the place where you pick us up. That was horrible! Chicago O'Hare needs to get that organized so that the people who are there first get on the shuttle bus first. We did have to wait a bit to check in and out, so it might be a good idea to have a spot for just people who are not renting cars. Each staff member was very friendly and accommodating.
Terrible experience. Drop off was lengthy. Pickup was a nightmare. We waited 35 minutes for shuttle and that was after the airport drop off at rental car facility. Checkout a nightmare as well. Not enough staff. Our flight was 53 minutes and your pickup experience was 1:15. Would never use again would never recommend.
Off airport parking facility used to be efficient and economical. Dismal disappointing performance. Incredibly long wait for pickup from the auto-rental center. Not enough room in the shuttle for all the people waiting and their luggage This also included untruthful promises of when the shuttle would arrive. Then the driver actually suggested a tip! Then another incredibly long wait in the facility that included having to find my car keys.
I have used the Park N Fly out of Midway frequently over the last few years. I expected a similar experience. My shuttle experience was less then average. The drivers for the most part were courteous. The desk staff and porters were nice, but you could see they were beyond stressed. I had to wait a half hour for a shuttle to the airport. The ride back was very similar, except involved two shuttle rides to get my car. My car was not ready. It seemed like a very elongated process. The price was less then others and so was the experience. I will not use this service again and am more likely to park at O'hare.
I have done offsite parking every single time that I have traveled. I travel 10-12 times a year to give you an idea of how often I use this service. The arrival was ok at best. Not very pleasant but got me to the airport fairly quickly. The return experience was AWFUL! You now have to take the O’Hare shuttle to the rental car building and THEN call for your Routes Parking shuttle. O’Hare Shuttle was sitting waiting for us. Awesome...maybe this won’t be so bad....WRONG. Called Routes at 1:57 pm for pick up. Was told shuttle should be there in 5-6 minutes. At 2:11 I call back and let them know the shuttle still hasn’t arrived. I’m then told their pickup window is between 10-15 and I’m still in that window (by 1 min). After waiting 41 minutes, the shuttle FINALLY showed up. Noticed no back up traffic while driving....No apology. He could have cared less. Then the driver ASKED for a tip. Seriously??!!!!!!! Finally showed up to Routes and now I have to stand in line to give them a ticket to go get my car. I’m 3rd in line. I finally get up to counter and ask if they could hurry because I literally paid over $200 to switch my flight to earlier to make my sons football game & now I’m already going to be very late. I’m literally in tears. His response was he’s not a runner but he’s going to get my car. So basically again, he doesn’t give a crap. So it took 1 hour 18 minutes in total from the time I hoped on the first shuttle. 25 minutes is the max all other offsite parking places have been. I’m out hundreds of dollars for absolutely nothing thanks to this company. Never again.
The trip to the airport was great tge attendant was pleasent and very helpful. This was great due to the early time of our flight and me having my 5 year old grandson with me. The trip back was a different story, the gentleman who pucked us up only spoke the passanger in the frount seat however when I reached to get bag from him on arrival he held onto my suitcase and moved it backwords has if to keep it from me and asked "do you have a little something for me"! If he had not done that I would have gave him a tip however he haf even acknowledged me before that nor did he ask anyone else for a tip! Then when I went inside to retrieve my car I had not dug my ticket out but did have my reservation brought up on my phone. The girl behind the counter rudely asked me how I did not have my ticket when I tryed to explaining to her that I haf my number on my phone all she did was walk away from me and started helping someone else. She was snippy and rude! I refuse to spent my money to be talked down t o and treated with such disrespect! What happened to costumer service?
Routes is the worst airport.parking facility i have ever used. it took over an hour for the shuttle bus to pick us up from the airport even though the facility was only five minutes away . They tried to blame traffic but there were no traffic tieups that i could see and certainly nothing that should have taken.nearly that long. indeed Mannheim road had only very light traffic in both directions at the time we were finally picked up. once we got back to the facility they did not have my car ready to go like all other companies i have used. instead i had to stand in line for a half hour with rental car customers before i could finally get my car. The company was obviously very understaffed but they didnt want to admit it. Just an overall terrible experience. i would never use them again even if they were the only parking facility around. you shouldnt use them either.
My shuttle took 30 plus minutes to arrive on my return to the lot, and we were all crammed into one vehicle. I had to ride in the back of the van with the luggage to allow a woman to have my seat that arrived to the shuttle pick-up area much later than I did at the driver of the van's request. The check-out process was dreadful as myself & others had to stand in a separate line for vehicle pickups only to be told to get in the rental car line then to be told to get back in the vehicle pickups line. Once I provided my information then I had to wait an additional 5 minutes for my vehicle to be retrieved. I believe that the facility was severely understaffed, and that they need more bodies working to prevent this from occurring again.
This was the most stressful part of our trip. Long lines at the counter. My parking was paid for and I'm waiting in a line with people renting cars, dropping off rental cars. 2 workers behind the desk. On the back, they don't pick you up at the airport! You are wandering around trying to get on a bus that drives to a remote area and then wait for the shuttle back to the car rental. Then stand in line with others and no one behind the desk. Terrible! I always use the park fly at Midway. Never here again!
Routes is absolutely terrible! Their instructions are very unclear and confusing. Additionally, while all of the shuttles come to the shuttle center (makes sense, right?) these lames come to the rental car center, meaning you have to take a shuttle. They don't explain this until the second part of the instructions so you have to read thru "preliminary" information to get to the important part. I would NEVER take again or recommend Routes parking. I've taken both Blue Sky & Wally before with no problem and recommended both.
This is not so much a review as a suggestion/request. Is there anyway to bypass having to take the bus to your shuttle ? It was much more convenient before we had to jump on the bus to go 15 minutes out-of-the-way.
Routes ORD. Dont even bother checking the price. We waited over 45 minutes for pickup. When I called about the delay I was told to wait another 20 minutes. I explained that ther were 30 people waiting and was told "you'd better get to the front of the line." That's a word for word quote.
We were told we would be picked up within 3 minutes of arriving at the rental car depot. We finally had a shuttle pick us up 40 minutes after we arrived there. This is too long. We've had good service from your contractors in the past but Routes Airport Parking was too slow.
Wait time was over 45 minutes for the shuttle. Getting worse every time we use you . Now we are told going to only get worse for dropping off at airport. Will probably be using UBER
We have used Park Ride Fly many times over the years, but never at Routes. When we initially dropped off the car, no one greeted us outside. we had no idea where to leave the car. I went in the facility with no greeting by anyone. Stood in line while others were renting vehicles and then someone told me if i was leaving my car to go to the end of the counter and fill out a paper. A lady then came to the desk and explained the process of getting to the shuttle upon return. We were told to go outside and wait for a shuttle. The man who drove us to the airport was nice, but drove like we were in a race and complained about all the Uber drivers. When we arrived back at the airport we took the shuttle to the rental car place, called Routes and told me to wait until the next shuttle came. there were about 20-30 people waiting for them as well. Waited a good 30 minutes. Arrived at Routes and went into the building. three people were working the counter and everyone was busy renting cars to others. I stated I only needed to pick up my car and was told to wait in line. I waited 30-40 minutes. One of the men behind the counter was rude and very bossy. There needs to be someone there for checking in parking and checking out cars when people are back from their trip. I have never been so disappointed with Park Ride Fly like this before. I will not recommend Routes and will not use this location in the future. Many people waiting in line with me were saying the same. Very sad to see such little care for the customer.
Had to ride a bus to the rental car center then had to wait 45 minutes for you shuttle to arrive then fight to get on because there were not enough seats for everyone waiting. You only had one bus going to the Routes location. People who arrived later push on and people that had been waiting longer were left behind. Will not use your Routes company again
Very attentive & polite staff, but not enough staff. This facility rents cars & has parking. We have returned at various times (afternoon, evening, night) each time the staff has been busy with car rentals, so parking patrons have long waits for what is a 3 minute interaction (we always prepay). If they always assigned even one person just to parking customers, it would be a much more efficient operation.
We had the same driver to the airport and upon our return to Routes and he was fantastic! We never caught his name but he was very pleasant and gracious! Everyone was wonderful to work with and we'll recommend you to our friends!
Everything was fine except waiting to long to get my car
Getting to the airport was more efficient than the return. However, there were long lines and confusion at check in. There was no order or direction, but I’ve used the place before. So, I figured it out. The return home was not good. We waited 55 minutes for the next shuttle to get there... which would not have been too upsetting if the person on the other end of the phone would have been NICE (and not accused us of being somewhere else other than directed on the card. I’ve used the place before; I was in the right spot). After a short response of “it’ll be 15 more minutes†it actually ended up being almost another 30 minutes of wait time. Not acceptable for the price I paid. Only good thing, car was intact (so far as I can tell) and my belongings are in it (I think). I’ve used them 3 times previous- never had these issues. I’ll be shopping for a new place for parking.
They had us take an O'Hare shuttle to the rental agency lot. I called for pickup and they said 10 minutes. It took over 45 minutes to get picked up. Unacceptable.
